On Kesha covering Bob Dylan
I appreciate the effort Ke$ha, and I’ll always be a fan, but I was gravely disappointed in this cover.

Daddy
Daddy, daddy
you bastard; I’m through!
Sylvia Plath, who I believe is every teen girl’s favorite poet, is a sometimes favorite of mine because some works drag on too long, and it’s as if shes grasping for straws with the point. sigh. At least she went out in style; not too many die from oven deaths.
“A career is wonderful, but you can’t curl up with it on a cold night.” - Marilyn Monroe
Very true
leaving the route 128 station, slooow ride
Edie Sedgwick
One of my personal idols; sure she was a drug fueled manic, but that’s what made her really, really fun and innovated.
Amtrak
Today I’m leaving Boston, and I am beyond crestfallen. I love every single thing about this city; from the colleges to the shopping (more on that later) and the people here, both family and friends alike. I wish I was already studying at Lasell, but I suppose enjoying my last few months at the academy won’t be awful. I have just four classes left, two being senior graduation requirements, and two being fun courses I picked for myself. On this trip I learned a few inner and outer Boston train tips:
- The T line is slow. Slower than smoking an American Spirit Menthol.
- The B line is one of the absolute slowest, and it is definitely easier to take the D train to the Res. stop, then catch a bus to Boston College.
- The D line also leads right to Riverside, and the Lasell campus
- Outbound and Inbound are always in regards to direction from/to Boston
- The T subway is one of the more clean public transportation I’ve been on, but the original Soviet cars that still run in Prague are cleaner.
- The local from South Station to Providence is slow, but a sight faster than the local from Grand Central to Stamford.
my travels today find me in Newton, MA at the lovely Boston College. There’s snow on the ground but I have that sinking feeling it will be gone soon.
